Swimming in a Fin Fun Mermaid Tail: Why I love my Fabric Mertail

Mermaid Problems

I am in LOVE with my MerNation Silicone mermaid tail... but it does have its downsides. It cost me a very large amount of money, so I'm always nervous about dinging it up or damaging it when I'm swimming in it or transporting it. And not only that, but it is also super heavy, requires a lot of care, and isn't the easiest to slip in and out of. Again, I adore my realistic looking silicone tail, but sometimes it is nice to be able to enjoy a casual swim without having to deal with all of the hassle that comes with wearing that pretty thing. ♥

Who said being a mermaid was easy? Fin-slap to the face? Having to be carried everywhere? Mermaid life is no joke! #MermaidProblems!

Mermaiding made Easy

Luckily, fabric mermaid tails exist. Becoming a mermaid is so easy with a fabric mermaid tail. All you have to do is put it on and hop into the water... BOOM! Instant mermaid. :)

Even with owning my beloved silicone tail, I do still rack up the miles on my fabric Fin Fun mermaid tail when the mood for mermaiding strikes. My fabric tail did not cost me very much money, so I don't have to worry so much if I accidentally scrap it against a rough surface, snag it on a twig, or roll around with it in the sand. It's also much easier to clean than the tail I wear for professional events and weighs much less... which means I don't need someone to carry lil ol' helpless me to the water! Slipping into it doesn't require and awkwardly large amount of lubrication either, which is always a plus! ;D (No slippery conditioner to spend forever scraping off in the shower... yay!!!)

How do you put on a Fin Fun Mermaid Tail? If you are just starting out as a mermaid, and plan on going on your first #mermaiding journey, getting into your fabric mermaid tail is something you'll need to learn how to do!

Ready to become a mermaid?

If you've ever been curious about what it's like to be a mermaid, then there is no better place to start than buying your first fabric mermaid tail. For real. I mean, sure... They aren't as realistic as some of the pricier professional mertails out there on the market (most of them make you into a very convincing mermaid, however!), but they are great in their own mermazing ways. :)

Here is where you can buy a Fin Fun fabric mermaid tail (there are so many colors to choose from!)

Here's a little look at what mine looks like in the water (I was wearing a one-piece bathing suit with it... Hehehe!) along with some instructions on how you can transform yourself into one of the finned folk the easy way.

Happy mermaiding!

XOXO- Mermaid Phantom

(Now excuse me as I cry myself a pool to swim in, since the lake is still freezing cold! XD)
