Mermaid Coloring Pages for Adults (and Mermen too!)
When was the last time you colored a picture? My guess is, too long ago. Personally, I don’t think kids should get to have all of the fun. Coloring is an enjoyable activity for people of any age! So I had some mermaid and mermen coloring pages made for the adults out there who still love to color. Most of my followers are into mermaids or want to be a professional mermaid or merman themselves, so having merfolk themed coloring pages created just made sense. While these downloadable coloring pages were made mostly with my fellow mermaid tail swimmers in mind, they can be used by anyone (including kids, with their parents’ “okay,” of course!)

These coloring pages are kinda awesome for a few reasons. Why are they awesome, you ask? Allow me to enlighten you:
Environmentally Conscious: The coloring pages are digital downloads, so you print them off of your printer when you want to use them. This is soooo much less wasteful than me keeping a hoard of coloring books at home and then shipping them out to people (no fuel used and no paper wasted on unpurchased items!)
As Diverse and Unique as Real Merfolk: The mermaid community is pretty large. In fact, it is kinda a global thing at this point. So not all mermaids look like me, and not all mermaids look like you. My coloring pages feature mermaids and mermen of different skin colors and ethnicities in addition to featuring merfolk inspired by myths and legends around the world (Selkies, Mishipeshu, Sea Serpents, Sirens and Mami Wata, to name a few).
Your Purchase Supports REAL People: I used to draw a lot, but I’m not great at drawing. Plus, it causes my carpal tunnel to flare up. So, I hire an artist to create these awesome coloring pages for me. When you buy a coloring page, you help support my small business and help support her as well… since the more of these I sell, the more of them I hire her to create. Much better than buying them from a huge chain craft store, am I right!?
Useful Tools for Professional Merfolk: While these coloring pages are technically for anyone to use, they were originally made as a way for my fellow merfolk to test out mermaid character design ideas. When creating my latest mermaid character, I really struggled to figure out what hair color would best match her tail. So I painstakingly drew my own mermaid, made copies of it, and then tested the colors on each printed design. The process took forever, so I figured I’d save everyone a few steps! In addition to being able to use these coloring pages for mersona creation, professional merfolk can also print off these coloring sheets and hand them out as freebies at age-appropriate events (this witch mermaid is perfect for Halloween events!)
