Monofin Upgrade for Silicone Mermaid Tails
Want to have a high powered monofin glued into the fluke of your silicone mermaid tail? You can add a White Silicone Monofin or a Mahina Monofin to your silicone mermaid tail order. Please note that monofins may NOT be purchased on their own and must be combined with a silicone mermaid tail order.
*Note: A monofin upgrade is not available for our Lake Superior Siren silicone mermaid tail.
When you select a monofin upgrade, we will glue your chosen monofin into your silicone mermaid tail. This will create a closed fluke look for the tail, which will allow it to be more easily used for dry-land events. However, this will make it more difficult to transport, as it will make the tail heavier and unable to be rolled up and shoved into carry-on luggage. Please keep this in mind!
ABOUT THE MONOFINS:
Mahina Monofin: This monofin can accommodate EU foot sizes 37-42. It will add less than 0.6 kg of weight to your mermaid tail.
White Silicone Monofin: This is a Chinese brand of silicone monofin that can accommodate EU foot sizes between 35-43. It is heavier and will add an additional 2 kg of weight to your mermaid tail.
While our Blind Box Mystery Tails can come with free monofins, those are all smaller, less powerful monofins that are not suitable for larger flukes. This upgrade will allow you to get a larger fluke for you Blind Box tail if you desire a closed fluke.
