This budget-friendly silicone mermaid tail is compact, lightweight and can be custom-made to your unique measurements. This stunning silicone mermaid tail is ideal for the traveling mermaid or merman as it is smaller and lighter than most silicone mermaid tails on the market. This mermaid tail has a “closed fluke” with a built in monofin, which makes it the perfect tail to use for dry-land events in addition to water events in salt water, freshwater or pools!

If an additional fee is needed in order to send your tail, you must pay the fee before your tail will be shipped to you. We will notify you via email, if an additional fee will be applies to your order.
**Mermaid tail sales are final. There are no refunds or returns. However, you order may be canceled by The Magic Crafter if the customer fails to provide accurate information in the forms (or indicates that they did not read the Important Information).
***Glue may be visible in some areas of the tail. Please don’t buy one of these tails if that is a deal-breaker for you.

Silicone mermaid tails are only to be used by experienced adult swimmers who are well-practiced in the dolphin-kick movement and in using a monofin
These silicone mermaid tails may only be used in areas that are safe for you (the customer) and may not be used in situations that exceed your skill level or abilities.
Silicone mermaid tails are intended for use by adults only. If you are under the age of 18, you may not purchase one of these tails.
Silicone mermaid tails require special care to avoid the build-up of mold and to reduce damage to the product. Please see our care sheet for details.
Silicone mermaid tails are not swimming aids and you can drown when wearing a mermaid tail. By purchasing a tail from The Magic Crafter, you acknowledge this risk and agree not to hold The Magic Crafter, or affiliated parties, liable. You swim at your own risk.
Never swim alone when using a mermaid tail- always swim with a fellow adult who can provide you with aid, if needed.
Silicone mermaid tails are custom-made to your self-provided measurements. They are a non-returnable and non-refundable item. If your tail arrives damaged, you must email us within 24 hours of receiving your tail with photos and videos of the damage done and we will determine the best route of action. If the damage appears to be the result of you, the customer, there will be no refund and no item return. Watch this video to see how to put on your silicone mermaid tail without damaging it.
It is very important that you provide accurate measurements and follow the measurement instructions carefully to ensure that your mermaid tail fits you well. It is recommended that you do not order a silicone mermaid tail if you are in the process of losing weight or gaining weight.
Your silicone mermaid tail will not be created until payment is made in full. Please allow 55+ days for your silicone mermaid tail to arrive after payment has been received. Wait times will fluctuate depending on the factory’s work-load, holidays, and your country’s unique situation (it is not uncommon for the tails to get stuck in customs for extended periods of time in some countries)
Shipping and/or handling fees or VAT may apply depending on your unique location. If this is the case, we will contact you and you will need to pay the additional fees before your tail can be sent.
Do NOT book any gigs that will use your mermaid tail until after the tail has arrived at your house. Again, wait times can fluctuate and we don’t want you to book a gig and then not have a tail in time for it!
You MUST use lubricant to get into your silicone mermaid tail. Failure to do so may result in damage to the mermaid tail. Astroglide’s water-based lubricant, in addition to water, is what we recommend.
All mermaid tails (no matter the type) will get damaged eventually with use. Please see our care guide for instructions on how to repair your silicone mermaid tail when damage does occur.
We may ask for photos of you so that we can better see your body shape when making your tail. These should be taken against a simple background while wearing tight-fitting clothing (such as leggings and a slim-fit shirt). We will need a photo from the front, a photo from the side, and a photo from behind.
